Led by Event Chairs Anita Bhatia and Jill Hyman, the 24th Annual Comedy for a Cure® will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025—once again at the beautiful Vibiana in Los Angeles. The event begins at 5 pm with blue carpet arrivals, cocktails, food and fun activities, followed by a short program and dinner, an entertaining live auction and an evening of comedic entertainment. Honorary Chairs for the evening are Edina Kiss and Mike Schwartz.
We are thrilled to announce Tom Papa will headline this year's event. With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, TV, radio and podcasts as well as on the live stage. Tom will be joined by Ron Pearson—a true triple threat as a comedian, actor and world-renowned juggler, best known for his role as Doug Ricketts on Malcolm and Eddie. The show will be emceed by Gary Cannon, a comedian with more than 25 years of warm-up, stand-up and corporate entertainment, currently the audience warm up-comic for the Jennifer Hudson daytime talk show and the hit Fox reality competition show The Masked Singer.
We are also grateful to our Comedian Committee members—Jim O'Heir (Chair), Alonzo Bodden, Shane Brady, Mo Collins, Wendy Liebman, Melissa Peterman and Craig Shoemaker—who each volunteer their time year after year to ensure we present a great show.
As part of the evening's program, we're excited to be honoring both a family and individual who exemplify unwavering dedication to the TSC community and our organization's mission.
This year's honorees include:
The Huddleston Family with the Courage in Leadership Award for their fearless mission to raise awareness of TSC and funds to drive research through hosting events at their Irwindale Speedway, engaging the NASCAR and celebrity community and providing peer support to others living with TSC. Their support of our cause is inspired by their daughter, Hailey.
Greg Grunberg and 'Talk About It!' with the TSC Champion Award for his support of Comedy for a Cure since 2008 and for raising unprecedented awareness of epilepsy. Greg co-founded the ‘Talk About It!’ Company, which activates celebrities, industry and the general public with a goal to get everyone talking about key issues that need more public attention. ‘Talk About it!’ originally focused on epilepsy, as Greg’s oldest son lives with epilepsy.
