Led by event chair Anita Bhatia, Comedy for a Cure will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Vibiana in Los Angeles. The event begins at 5 pm with red carpet arrivals, cocktails, food and fun activities, followed by a short program, an entertaining live auction and an evening of comedic entertainment.
This year's event will be headlined by actor and standup comedian Billy Gardell, who currently stars on Bob Hearts Abishola and previously starred in Mike & Molly. He will be joined by actress, comedian and writer Kira Soltanovich, who is best known for her correspondent work on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. We are grateful to our Comedian Committee members — Jim O’Heir (Chair), Alonzo Bodden, Shane Brady, Mo Collins, Kate Flannery, Wendy Liebman, Melissa Peterman, Craig Shoemaker, and Alex Skuby — who each volunteer their time to ensure we have a great show. And this year, Jim O’Heir and Wendy Liebman will serve as the event’s Honorary Co-Chairs

As part of the evening’s program, we’re excited to be honoring both a family and individual who exemplify unwavering dedication to the TSC Community and our organization’s mission.  This year’s honorees include:

  • The Hyman Family with the Courage in Leadership Award for their fierce advocacy, fundraising, and leadership on behalf of their daughter Skylar.
  • Craig Shoemaker with the TSC Champion Award for his support of this event since 2015 and collaborative efforts as a founding member of Comedy for a Cure’s Comedian Committee.
